Olympic Hero
Ariarne 'Arnie' Titmus
We’re thrilled to announce the surprise guest for the 2024 Commentators Club is none other than the awesome Ariarne 'Arnie' Titmus.
Swimming with the expectations of a nation on her shoulders at the Paris Olympics, Australia’s golden girl of the pool delivered jaw-dropping, electrifying performances attracting global admiration.
Adding a further four Olympic medals to her collection (now at 8) including gold medals in the 400m individual freestyle and 4 x 200m freestyle relay; and silver medals (and a PB) in the 800m freestyle and another silver in the 200m freestyle.
Her rivalry with US superstar Katie Ledecky is stuff of legend. We haven’t got time here to go over her stellar swimming career to date; her passion for cooking; love of the Hawks or reveal how uncomfortable those cardboard beds in the athletes village really were!
For all that you’ll have to wait until we chat with Arnie on 26 September.

Comedy Royalty
Sean 'Woody' Woodland
As a heavily tattooed skinhead, Woody feels continuously obliged to assure the judgemental that he isn’t any of those words that end in ‘ist’. Sadly, things don’t always go to plan.
However, he makes no such efforts in trying to appease those who provide regular updates about abstaining from alcohol, mental health grifters, ice bath enthusiasts, men with hair plugs or those with a pathological attachment to fads.
'Has more than average number of laughs up his sleeve.
We can't wait to hear what he has to say on his first appearance on the Commentators Club stage.
