Tickets are sold through our web site and will be on sale shortly.  We use the StickyTickets platform to manage the sales and payments.

Where is the event held?

The event is held at Melbourne's ZINC @ Fed Sq.  Located a short stroll from Flinders St Station along the river front towards the mighty MCG, and has been the home of The Commentators Club since 2005.

What time does the event start?

Doors are open at 12:15 pm for a 12:30pm start and we welcome you to join us for a pre event drink in the foyer/entry area of Zinc.

Be sure to arrive ready to be seated by 12:30pm as the fun and activities start promptly, and anyone who has been before knows we have a full schedule of AFL related and comedic shenanigans to keep you entertained all afternoon!

What do you do with the funds collected?

The Commentators Club Chooses a Charity Partner each year to receive the funds raised at the event.  The charity is carefully chosen to be able to benefit most from our donation, and we ensure they are a grass roots Melbourne based charity.

The best part of being a Director of The Commentatos Club is being able to make a sizeable donation to worthy community causes.   For more information see our Previously Supported Charities page.

What is the Dress Code for the Event?

There is nothing we like more than having a good time at the Commentators Club.  What does this have to do with a dress code? In general the dress code is smart casual, some guests choose business attire but that's completely up to you.

We do encourage you to wear some team colours - a scarf or beanie or jumper!
 
So please just come along, relax, enjoy yourself and leave feeling better about life and primed ready to enjoy what is the greatest day in world sport - the AFL Grand Final!

Do you issue Tickets?
What do I tell my guests?

We issue tickets from the StickyTickets platform for the event - however they will not be required for entry. Once you have placed your booking and made payment, you will receive a confirmation email with the tickets as confirmation.  If you are inviting guests, please forward them a link to our site for all the information on the event (you can use the share bar below or on the left) and tell them to show up at Zinc on the day, relax, enjoy themselves and leave feeling better about life and ready to enjoy what is the greatest day in world sport - the AFL Grand Final!

How does the Waitlist work?

Accepted Answer

The Commentators Club annual Luncheon is a much sought after event and tickets have sold out every year. We use the Sticky Tickets application for ticketing which will display a "Waiting List" button once ticket allocations have been exhausted.

Clicking on the Waiting List button will open a window for prospective ticket purchasers to sign up with their contact details and the request for how many tickets they are seeking. 
If any tickets become available, we can release tickets to the waitlist. Waitlisters are notified via email and will have a personalised link to access the available tickets.
